Description of Services:
The Community Health Center, Inc. health facilities provide comprehensive health care to the community. Cancer specific care is limited to Pap test screening for HPV and cervical cancer. In addition, the Community Health Center of Middletown offers the Connecticut Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program for medically underserved women.
Screening Information:
The Screening and Diagnostic Services Include: Office Visits, Screenings and Diagnostics, Mammograms, Breast Biopsies, Breast Ultrasounds, Fine Needle Aspirations, Pap Tests, Colposcopies and Colposopy-directed biopsies, LEEP, Surgical Consultations and Clinical Breast Exams.
Reduced Cost Information:
Women over 40 and either without insurance or a deductible over $1,000 are eligible for Mammograms. Women over 19 and either without insurance or a deductible over $1,000 are eligible for pap smears.
