Description of Services:
Ann’s Place, The Home of I Can, provides an array of cancer patient and survivor support services such as breast cancer support groups, Ann’s Place offers a multitude of general cancer support groups for people in every stage of treatment or survivorship as well as their families. In addition, they offer wellness programs for patients bodies, minds, and some for specific symptoms or side effects of cancer treatment.
Support Group Information:
Women Together - For Women newly diagnosed and in treatment for Breast Cancer. Occurs on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evening of every month.
Women Together Graduates - For women who have finished treatment for Breast Cancer. Occurs on the 2nd Monday evening of every month.
Women Together Post-Graduates - For women who are long term survivors of Breast Cancer. Occurs on the 3rd Monday evening of every month.
Keeping On - For people with chronic and recurring cancers. This group is not specific to breast cancer but women with that diagnosis attend that group as well.
In Common - For women with treatment related Lymphedema. This group is not currently meeting but is pulled together when there are enough women with that need.
The program also provides Art Therapy as well as Horticultural Therapy for individuals or for groups.
Kids Kan/CLIMB - For children who have a parent or family member with cancer. This is for men and women with any type of cancer and their children.
Family Day - Open to families with any type of cancer.
