2012 Komen Connecticut Ride for the Cure

Registration Details

Riders may register any time up until the event, provided the $250 minimum is raised. Riders may make a personal contribution or solicit employers, friends and family for the minimum donation.

All Rider Awards will be determined by donations raised as of September 14, 2012. The categories are as follows: Bronze Riders ($300-499), Silver Riders ($500-999), Gold Riders ($1,000+) The Platinum Rider is the highest fundraiser, and will be determined by funds raised as of September 27, 2012. Keep track of donations with a Ride Fundraising Form. Remember to send in all donations with a form.

Donations can be made online via credit card or offline via check and cash.

Please make checks payable to "Komen Connecticut." All donations are tax-deductible. Donations over $50 will receive an acknowledgement as their receipt for tax purposes.

Every rider will need to sign a Release and Hold Harmless Agreement and provide current Coggins and Rabies documentation on the day of the Ride.
Ride Day Details

Parking area opens at 8:00 AM.

Registration and refreshments open at 8:30 AM.

Riders start the course between 9:00 and 11:30 AM.

Lunch will be served between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
- Guest lunches are $10.00. All guest lunches must be ordered and paid for by September 15, 2012. No guest lunches will be sold at the door. Rider lunches are provided at no additional cost.

Riders must be 12 years of age or older. Riders 12 to 17 years old must be accompanied by a rider 21 years or age or older.

Helmets (ASTM/SEI approved) are mandatory for all riders.

The Ride will be held rain or shine.
