Thank you for registering as a Team Captain for the 19th Annual Komen Connecticut Race for the Cure®! We consider the role of Teams, and most especially Team Captains, integral to the success of the Komen Connecticut Race for the Cure.
Here’s a startling statistic: Connecticut has the second highest incidence of breast cancer in the nation! By becoming a Team Captain, you have taken the first step toward combating this statistic, but it is your fundraising efforts that will get us to the cures!
We thank you for joining us in the local fight against breast cancer and helping provide breast health services for underserved women right here in Connecticut. Through your efforts and those of other Team Captains, we have been able to fund over $21 Million in outreach, screening, treatment services and research to end breast cancer in Connecticut.
