Federal Funding Eligibility Criteria

Effective July 1, 2009

To be eligible for federally funded free screening and diagnostic services through the Connecticut Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, women must:

 

Be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level – See chart below

and

Be 40 to 64 years of age for Mammograms and 19 to 64 years of age for Clinical Breast Exams & Pap Tests

and

Have no health insurance*

or

Have health insurance that excludes routine Pap Tests and/or Mammograms

or

Have a high insurance deductible ($1,000 or more)

 

*Women 65+ who are not enrolled in Medicare Part B may be eligible to receive CBCCEDP & WISEWOMAN services.
