The In Honor Campaign provides the opportunity to make a donation to celebrate a loved one's survivorship or a special occasion—a birthday, anniversary, or a wedding, or recognize the courage of a friend or relative who is fighting breast cancer. When an In Honor gift is received, Komen Connecticut will promptly send a personalized tribute card to the person or family indicated notifying them of your thoughtful donation, but not revealing the amount of the donation. Every gift is tax-deductible and the donor receives an acknowledgement for his or her donation.
You now have the option of honoring a survivor in your life by creating an online fundraising page. Celebrate their survivorship by inviting friends and family to donate to your campaign. Set fundraising goals, track donors, and invite visitors to leave notes in the online guest book. This is a great option for a family or group wishing to collect multiple donations in honor of the same person.
The Memorial Campaign provides the opportunity to make a donation in memory of a loved one or friend.
